CONSTRUCTION

Please be advised that our resort will be undergoing construction work commencing August 18, 2008 and will conclude on or about December 31, 2008.  This work will be 100% exterior and will consist of the following components: power washing, concrete repair, and repainting.  We anticipate that there will be minimal intrusion to include only access to your balcony for purposes as stated above.  We will be making every effort to complete work in vacant units first so as to not disrupt current occupants, however please be advised that it may be possible that we will need to perform work on your balcony.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience; however appreciate your understanding as we continue to improve your vacation experience.

OCCUPANCY:

Your spacious unit has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and a large screened balcony facing the ocean. Maximum occupancy is 6, including infants. If you are checking into Unit A1, the maximum occupancy is 10, including infants. To start your week off, we provide a welcome basket with coffee and tea. We also provide a cleaning caddy and accessories for your convenience.

RCI EXCHANGES, GEO, AND RENTERS: A $100.00 security deposit is required at check-in, secured by a MasterCard or Visa. It is destroyed thirty days after check-out.

OWNERS/OWNERS’ GUESTS: Our policy requires that owners provide the office with written permission for guests to occupy their units BEFORE the guests check in.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE RESORT!

 

PARKING:

ONE PARKING SPACE PER UNIT IS PROVIDED FOR OWNERS AND TEMPORARY SPACES AS WE CAN ALLOW FOR THEIR GUESTS. NO BOATS, RV’S, MOTOR HOMES, TRAILERS, ETC. However, there is parking available 1 ½ miles North of us at Hutchinson Island Storage, 9751 S. Ocean Dr. If you call 772-229-2422 ahead of time, they will tell you where you may park your vehicle(s) on Sunday until they open on Monday and present you with standard rates. Their office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Since Turtle Reef is not involved or responsible for storage, you may call Hutchinson Island Storage directly with questions or agreements.
 

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:
 TELEPHONES: Local calls, calling card calls, and “800” numbers are free. If you plan to make long distance calls, they must be made collect, charged to your home telephone, or put on a calling card or charge card. Your unit telephone number will be issued at check-in or you may contact the Resort on Sunday prior to your arrival for your direct telephone number. The lobby telephone is also for your use in making free local calls.

TO SAVE ON ELECTRIC BILLS AND PROTECT AIR CONDITIONERS, a monitoring system was installed to automatically shut off the air-conditioner when a front door or a balcony slider is left open for four minutes. This new system will eliminate the unnecessary cost for frozen air conditioning lines and keep the electricity costs within normal range.

NO SMOKING allowed in the units or on the balconies. There is a bench and ashtray provided on each floor across from the elevator.
